“Relationships from Higher States of Being”

“When I first learned the Enneagram I was rather disappointed by my type, even more disappointed to know that it doesn’t change. But when I started studying Gurdjieff, I was so fascinated by the concept of Essence. I found a lot of inspiration in realizing that the personality isn’t Humanity’s only option, and that the human can be so much more.

 The Sufi tradition teaches the same thing. In this presentation I aim to correlate The Gurdjieffian and Sufi teachings about The Full Potential of the Human Being. Gurdjieff referred to this as “Man Becoming Immortal.” In the Sufi tradition it is called “Al-Insan Al-Kamil.” I will also shed light on what our human relationships would look like if we approach those in our lives from a higher state of being. Coming from Essence is the way to share what is most sacred and uniquely loving in ourselves with the rest of the world.”

Dina ElBadry is an IEA accredited professional and Founder & Head Teacher at The Enneagram Academy in Egypt. She works in Europe and Africa  with the Chestnut Pães Academy as a staff member and as Head Mentor Worldwide.  Dina studied the Gurdjieff work and teaches the CP Levels of Awareness model that’s based on both Gurdjieff and Sufi interpretative studies.
