There is a season to every purpose, and we’re feeling the change. As Enneagram Northeast closes out our affiliate chapter and our shared Enneagram journey, we’ve been taking stock of the last four years. It’s been a privilege to witness the many ways this work has brought people together through learning, dialogue, and personal growth. Below we’ve collected personal reflections from our Board members as we each depart for new pursuits. 

Effective July 1, 2026, all memberships will transition away from automatic renewal. In the coming week, we will discontinue auto-renewal for all active memberships, and you may receive a notification from Squarespace confirming this change.

As a valued member, you will continue to have complimentary access to our entire library of webinars and workshops through our website. The Vimeo recordings in our archive are now available directly from the homepage, making it easier than ever to access these resources.

We are excited to make our educational programming available to the broader public and invite you to share these resources with your friends, family, and colleagues. Thank you for your support, and we hope you will help spread the word so that others can benefit from this valuable content as well.

While we are no longer creating programming, we hope the conversations, friendships, and insights continue to ripple outward. Thank you for helping create such a thoughtful community. Look out for Ben’s parting words in our last email next month.

Ben Campbell - Founder and President

I've most appreciated the opportunity to be on a team with other people who love the Enneagram. It's a special experience to show up at a "work" meeting knowing that everyone shares the same passion for inner work and making the world a better place. I've also thoroughly enjoyed being an "emcee" for so many amazing guests over the past few years. It's been fun and inspiring to get to engage with so many Enneagram luminaries and pioneers. I'm very grateful for my time on the board. My next personal/professional step is focused on local, in-person work, bringing leadership teams into nature-based Enneagram retreats, and getting more involved in my own communities here in Maine. I'm excited for the evolution that we all are going through! 

Megan Knight - Secretary 

As I conclude my term, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such dedicated board members and build meaningful relationships throughout this journey. Working with a variety of Enneagram types reminded me of the unique strengths, perspectives, and challenges each person brings, and how much we can learn from one another. I am especially thankful to our members for entrusting us with their education and growth through the Enneagram, a powerful tool that fosters greater self-awareness, understanding, and connection. It has been an honor to be part of this community and to contribute to its mission.  

Claudia Pessagno - Treasurer

Serving on this Board has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my Enneagram journey. The Enneagram has had a profound impact on my personal life, shaping my understanding of myself and my relationships, and it has been a true privilege to help bring this powerful work to others through our programming.  During my tenure, I have been inspired by the wisdom of our speakers, the enthusiasm of our community, and the dedication of my fellow board members. The friendships and connections I have made along the way may be what cherish most. While the Enneagram is not part of my professional work, it has been an important part of my life and given me a deep sense of purpose. I am grateful to have played a role in bringing its teachings into the world and I know that’s far from over! I look forward to staying involved in the broader community and its mission for many years to come.

Najiba Akbar – Program Coordinator & Outreach 

Serving on the Enneagram Northeast Board these past few years, I have really appreciated working alongside others who care so personally and deeply about the Enneagram and its power to transform lives. I also cherished the opportunity to learn from the many gifted presenters who shared their diverse perspectives, and getting the opportunity to facilitate several reflective conversations with our members. As I step into my next chapter, I am developing a coaching practice that incorporates the Enneagram into couples and family work and will also be offering contemplative retreats for Muslim women navigating seasons of personal and spiritual transition. I also look forward to completing my certification as an Enneagram Contemplative Practitioner with Evolving Enneagram later this year. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to be part of this community.

Ellen Boyce –Communications, Visual Lead.

It has been such a pleasure working with the board to share our love for the Enneagram. There is something very special about having a common language and understanding of inner work as a foundation for our joint goals. I have appreciated the opportunity to practice my visual communication and technical skills in service of this mission. Combining a volunteer role with a learning opportunity really satisfies my need to make the most of things! I look forward to deepening my knowledge via Russ Hudson’s upcoming online course “ The Enneagram, the Inner Critic, and the Inner Rebel: Liberate Yourself from Limiting Messages of the Past.”

Whether those I work with as a coach or consultant are familiar with or curious about the Enneagram or not, the wisdom lays the groundwork, allowing me to show up as fully as possible in every moment. I am always grateful for it.

Adair Rowland – Communications, Newsletter Editor

What a happy few years it’s been serving on the Board of our Northeast affiliate of the IEA. Working on the website, newsletter and both promoting and attending the array of events we’ve sponsored has been more than rewarding. It deepened my learning and love of the Enneagram for sure, but the friends made and support to attend the IEA show in Minneapolis were unexpected bonuses. The Zoom-based community for online events may be waning, but there’s still a hunger for forums such as this in which to share wisdom, experience, and good humored camaraderie. I am grateful for the archive of presentations on the website and can still hold a watch party and discussion from those forums. My hope is that we can re-convene in a new iteration of Enneagram community, as lively and caring a group as I’ve ever met.

Many of us who are drawn to learning about the Enneagram of Personality are accustomed to asking the question “Who am I?” If the goal of our exploration is to be more mindfully self aware, release ego based fears, and access the wisdom of all nine points, what more tangible outcomes are we anticipating, if any?
